We are a local independent driving school based in Teddington.

Here at Totally Driving, our aim is to offer bespoke driving lessons for each and every pupil with unrivalled local knowledge and understanding of what you, the pupil, wants to gain lesson by lesson. Totally Driving offers driving lessons for all levels of drivers, helping you every step of the way from day one to the completion of your driving test.

Choosing a driving school can be a hard decision but we can offer a service that has produced many happy pupils and helped some of the most nervous drivers fulfill their goal of passing. Because we are a local driving school, we are able to offer driving lessons in Hampton, Teddington, Kingston, Ashford, Esher and all of the surrounding areas. Our lessons have a bespoke feel that is taught by a driving instructor with a complete local knowledge of traffic densities, road types and junction varieties. These include areas such as; Twickenham, Feltham, Hanworth, Sunbury and Surbiton to name just a few, all designed to help you learn to drive the correct way.

We feel the best way to teach people to drive is in a relaxed manor, to work with your strong points to help you build confidence and in turn develop your driving ability. Totally Driving only uses Fully Approved Driving Instructors who have been fully CRB checked and will not swap and change instructors throughout the course, unlike some of the large multi-regional driving schools. We offer free local pick up and drop off and we never do piggy-back lessons, which involves a pupil driving the following pupil home as part of their lesson. These lesson types are used by some instructors to maximise the amount of lessons per day but affects lesson productivity and pupil nerves.

Driving lessons for new drivers.

Taking the first step into the driver seat can be a daunting task, but Totally Driving is here to help you at every step. Right from day one we will assist you though every aspect of driving as well as the understanding and the booking of the theory / driving tests. We are a local driving school, not a large multi regional school, which means no dealing with call centres or people that have never met you. Refresher courses for the more nervous driver.

We understand that learning to drive does not stop once you have passed your test. Many people have anxiety about parking, long motorway journeys or may have had a large break from driving and wish to have an opportunity for a refresher course to get back in to the swing of it.
